THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE UNION OF ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS OF THE TURKIC WORLD

On June 28, 2023, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Secretary General of the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World Ilyas Demirci, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the city of Arkadag.

At the beginning of the meeting, I.Demirci presented the head of state with the medal "For outstanding services to the Turkic world", noting his huge personal contribution to the formation of the unique image of modern, dynamically developing Turkmenistan.

The President of the country stressed that he perceives this award as a high assessment of the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of architecture, engineering and urban planning.

As noted, reforms in the economy ensure the rapid and stable development of our country. Within the framework of the adopted programs, new cities, towns, villages, various facilities and industrial enterprises are being built and put into operation.

Touching upon the issues of cooperation, the President noted with satisfaction that the Turkic peoples are united by a common history, culture, spiritual and life values.

In the context of developing effective relations with the Turkic states, the possibility of productive interaction with the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World was noted, in particular, in studying the engineering achievements of friendly peoples in improving urban construction based on advanced technologies and management decisions.

In this regard, the readiness of the Turkmen side was expressed to consider specific proposals in various areas of cooperation.
