THE HEAD OF STATE TOOK PART IN THE VII CONGRESS OF THE YOUTH ORGANIZATION OF TURKMENISTAN NAMED AFTER MAKHTUMKULI

On September 1, 2022, the next, VII congress of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli was held in the Mekan Palace in the capital. The forum dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan was attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the congress, which brought together delegates from the capital and all velayats of the country, an analysis was made of the work done over the past period, the priority tasks facing the Organization in the era of the Revival of the New Era of a Powerful State, and a number of organizational issues were considered.

Then the Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli Y.Ovezberdiev made a report summarizing the activities of the Organization since the previous Congress, the work carried out to implement the state youth policy under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Then the floor was given to the heads of the capital and regional branches of the Youth Organization.

Further, within the framework of the agenda of the forum, organizational issues were considered. The congress participants elected a new composition of the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly and its leaders. Y.Keriev was elected Chairman of the Central Council of the Organization, D.Durdymukhammedov was elected as his Deputy.

The congress delegates were enthusiastic about the arrival of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Mekan Palace. The participation of the head of Turkmenistan in the work of the forum was an eloquent confirmation of the great attention paid in our country to youth policy.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov delivered a speech at the congress in which he noted that our great future is inextricably linked with the well-being of young people and sustainable development. In this context, the head of state emphasized, one of the important tasks is to educate generations, relying on the noble traditions of our people.

The speech of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was listened to with deep attention and met with thunderous applause.

Then the head of state signed the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Youth Policy”, which was received with great enthusiasm by the forum participants.

Then the floor was given to the congress delegates.

Addressing the audience with closing remarks, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov again congratulated everyone on a wonderful holiday - the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, as well as on holding the VII Congress of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.

At the end of the congress, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly said goodbye to everyone and left the scene.

Thus, the current forum clearly demonstrated the unity and cohesion of the Turkmen youth around the head of state, their desire to realize their multifaceted potential for the sake of a happy present and bright future of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
