THE OFFICIAL VISIT OF PRESIDENT GURBANGULY BERDIMUHAMEDOV TO KUWAIT IS COMPLETED

Within the second day of the official visit to the State of Kuwait, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Arabian Horse Race Center of the Emir of the State of Kuwait and the Museum of Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah.

In the morning, the motorcade of the President of Turkmenistan from the residence reserved for the visit went to the Arabian Horse Race Center of the Emir of the State of Kuwait. At the main entrance of the complex, the head of state was warmly greeted by the granddaughter of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, the chief executive director of the Arabian Horse Race Center Sheikha Sarah Al-Fahad Al-Sabah and other officials.

 During the conversation Sheikha Sarah Al-Fahad Al-Sabah acquainted President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the activities of the Center and the library fund, which collected about 800 books on the history of horse breeding in Kuwait and other countries of the world, Arabian horses and various breeds of horses. Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented with books devoted to the 30th anniversary of the Center's foundation, as well as the history of Arabian horses.

Further, the head of the Turkmen state is invited to go to a special site for viewing the brood of the best representatives of this elite breed. On the open arena magnificent horses were demonstrated, which were known as far back in 4th-5th centuries.

Then the head of Turkmenistan was brought to the foal, which was born today, and was asked to give him a name. Horses are loyal and faithful helpers of man, like no one else, deserving a beautiful and sonorous name that remains with them for life, the President said. It should reflect the features of the steed - either a bright exterior, or unique character traits. The name "Dostjan" will express his friendly disposition and become a symbol of fraternal relations between our peoples, the Turkmen leader said.

 During the conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented Sheikha Sarah Al-Fahad Al-Sabah his books dedicated to the legendary "paradise" horses, the history of the world-famous breed.

 In conclusion, wishing every success in their work, the President of Turkmenistan warmly said goodbye to the workers of the complex.

Then the President's motorcade proceeded to the Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah Museum, one of the main attractions of the capital of a friendly country.

At the main entrance, the head of Turkmenistan was warmly greeted by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, the Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and his wife - the general director of the Sheikh Museum, Hussa Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

Unique archaeological finds, telling about the rich history of Kuwait were presented in the halls of the museum. Here there were cities of Sumerians, Babylonians, Persians and Greeks, ancient trade routes ran and original cultures developed. On its territory were discovered cultural layers, which date back to the V millennium BC.

 Attention of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was represented by rarities that tell of the history of Turkmenistan, in particular, the Ancient Margush and the Parthian Kingdom, which are bright symbols of the deepest roots of our people, rightfully considered one of the primary centers of world civilization.

The President of Turkmenistan donated to the Museum a photocopy of a number of written rarities from the fund. Each of the unique works of medieval authors tells about the history of Turkmen and Turkmen states, once located in the territory of modern Arab countries, relations with the peoples living along the Great Silk Road.

After the meeting with the cultural center, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left a note in the Book of Honored Guests.

Having warmly bid farewell to the head of Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah, the head of state departed from the scene, heading to the International airport of the city of Kuwait.
